Inter-comparison workshop

An inter-comparison workshop took place on 31 January 2018 at ESRIN, just after the 2nd S2 Validation Team Meeting.

The objective of this workshop was the inter-comparison of Sentinel-2/MSI radiometric validation results obtained with different methods (absolute, interband, low radiances, relative to other sensors) developed in the frame of the S2RadVal project and by other entities.

15 experts from 10 entities (ESA, ACRI-ST, ARGANS, CNES, CS-SI, NASA, NPL, Rayference, USGS, University of Arizona) participated. The preparation of a paper presenting the different methods, results and conclusions is in discussion.
