Sentinel-2 radiometric validation approaches

The S2RadVal project has allowed the definition, implementation and validation of several Sentinel-2 radiometric validation methods and their associated uncertainties budgets following QA4EO and GUM guideline.

These methods are:

• Sentinel-2 radiometry validation method based on DCC observations
• Sentinel-2 radiometry validation method based on the use of RadCalNet measurements
• Sentinel-2 low/medium radiometry validation
• Sentinel-3 radiometry validation using RadCalNet and Sentinel-2
